Description

Regional Wellbeing Masterclasses are brought to you by a local, non-profit collaborative committed to creating healthy and happy regional communities through high quality education and training experiences.

Building the Wellbeing of Young People 2017 event is aimed at bringing together regional health care professionals, teachers, school administrators and youth workers to learn from internationally regarded experts, gaining valuable knowledge to develop and support their work with young people.

Our masterclass facilitators this year are:

Dan Haesler - Dan is a international keynote speaker, writer, teacher and consultant who is engaging and thought provoking. He works with schools and organisations around issues of engagement, wellbeing, mindset & leadership. https://danhaesler.com/

Michele Chevalley Hedge - Michele is one of Australia’s most highly regarded nutritionists, health writers and presenters. She works with schools and companies to work on better health through effective and realistic nutrition. http://ahealthyview.com/about-us/

Mark Le Messurier - Mark is a teacher, counsellor and author. He is a recipient of an Australian National Excellence in Teaching Award and works in schools and in private practice with students he affectionately calls ‘Tough Kids’. http://marklemessurier.com.au/

Wellbeing Activities - the wellbeing activities provide an opportunity to learn new and innovative ways to engage with young people. The activities also allow kinesthetic learners a way to engage with the positive psychology and wellbeing approach using a very practical hands on experience.

This year we are excited to offer; Hula Hooping, Yoga, Ukulele, Body Percussion, Mindfulness Meditation, Matoumbi (Afro Cardio Dance) and Indigenous Story Telling.

Delicious, healthy vegetarian catering is part of your wellbeing masterclass experience.

We aim to provide an environmentally friendly conference experience and therefore encourage you to bring along your refillable water bottles and eco coffee cups to reduce our use of single use disposable products.

We are looking forward to you joining us for another inspiring day!
