AM Session

An overview of the ‘Behind Closed Doors’ report by Samantha Connor

 

Key Presenter - Jane Rosengrove- Winner of the Tony Fitzgerald Memorial Award joins us from Victoria and speaks on being a woman with disability who has experienced institutional living, emotional and sexual abuse.

 

Panel Discussion from cross sector panel with representatives from:

  • Family & Domestic Violence sector
  • Department of Health
  • Disability Services
  • Disability Advocates

 

PM Session

Group discussion in break-out sessions on being Safe in Schools, Community, in Relationships, and at Home. Help us find ways to prevent and respond to abuse and neglect of people with disability.

 

Panel reflection and moving forward with:

  • Taryn Harvey from DDWA,
  • Samantha Jenkinson from PWDWA and
  • Dr Alison Evans from Women’s Health Network.
