Lionel Lee, Managing Partner, InvesUnited

Lionel is a seasoned executive, board member and investor with over 20 years of commercial and investment experience across 15 industries and 22 markets. He and his team at InvesUnited have advised, invested and managed over USD 3 billion of global real estate, public equities and fixed income assets. Lionel has advised, acquired, financed and marketed over AUD 500 million of residential and commercial real estate in Australia since 1997.

His experience across types, classes and structures including house and land, townhouses, apartments, mixed use, offices, retail shops, hotels, medical centres and real estate investment trusts. He has also been in real estate sales, project marketing, financing, construction and development roles. He is also published and interviewed by various business and lifestyle media in Asia, Europe and US including Sky News Australia, The Asian Executive and Australian Institute of Directors.


Elise Elliott, Partner, Deloitte Private

Elise is a Partner with over 15 years’ experience assisting private businesses and family groups with issues related to business growth, management and ownership transfer, exit strategies, due diligence and the development of family constitutions.

Elise has worked extensively with over 100 of Australia’s wealthiest families assisting them with succession planning. This includes setting up the rules (constitution) for the future Generations to follow and assisting in educating the next Generation with wealth transfer. In many cases this has involved assisting family office set up.

Elise is actively involved in providing a range of accounting, taxation and business consulting services to retail, service organisations and family businesses across the private business sector. Furthermore, Elise has been involved in advising clients on business transactions and she has significant experience in the due diligence process.


Gary Cheung, Partner, Deloitte Private

Gary is a Partner with over 15 years’ experience focused on serving high net worth families as well as the businesses that they own, with a focus on the Asian market. Gary leads the Chinese Services Group for Deloitte Private providing accounting, taxation and business advisory services to his clients. Gary is also an independent advisor to a number of Asian high net worth families and acts as an independent director to a number of family office advisory boards.


Lewis Tong, National Director (Asian Market Specialist), CBRE

Lewis has been working with CBRE for over nine (9) years and is now the Head of the national Asian Services Team which has transacted over seven (7) billion dollars’ worth of asset to offshore buyers. Lewis’ prime responsibility is to manage relationships with offshore Asian buyers and to educate them so that they understand the specifics of each property, the process involved and any potential upside opportunities. Lewis has a very strong education behind him having recently completed a MBA Degree and he is also a certified property valuer.


Benjamin Chan, Senior Relationship Manager, NAB

Benjamin is an experienced commercial banker with over 18 years’ experience managing corporate and commercial customers. He has strong focus on growing business customers in diversified trading businesses and a dedicated specialist in cross-border investments in the Asia Pacific Region.
