Description

Building High Performing Leaders

In accordance with the Queensland Leadership Board’s mandate, the entire Queensland Public Sector is rapidly aligning to the Leadership Competencies for Queensland (LC4Q). By June 2021, the sector will be empowered by unprecedented capability and career mobility, creating expedited development channels for leaders and unparalleled efficiency in community service delivery.

As the only contemporary, psychology-based development program mapped to the Leadership Competencies for Queensland, our Building High Performing Leaders program has been purpose-built to provide sector leaders with the skills to succeed in this new context. Targeted specifically towards the unique challenges and requirements faced by Queensland’s Public Service leaders, our recent programs for QLD public sector middle and senior leaders have delivered significant outcomes.

The Challenge

The role of public sector leadership is constantly evolving. We are now in an age of increasingly connected and complex community needs, unprecedented challenges, and volatile markets. QLD’s leaders are being pressed to achieve more with less, while maintaining a positive workplace culture, and engaging, inspiring and retaining great people. In this context, today’s QLD public service leaders require skills far beyond a strong technical background to be effective.

QLD’s New Generation of Leaders

The LC4Q competencies have been designed to guide and empower current and aspirational sector leaders to expertly navigate the contemporary challenges and increasing complexity of the QLD public service. Early adopters of LC4Q and the associated strategic development initiatives such as LEAD4QLD, are beginning to position themselves at the forefront of QLD’s leadership cohort.

Once Experienced, Never Forgotten

Hudson’s passion, expertise and innovation in leadership development has been interwoven with Sentis’ dynamic, inspiring and mindset-shattering expertise in human behaviour change to produce an unparalleled leadership development series. We have broken the archaic, ineffective ‘death by PowerPoint’ approach to leadership development. Our program uses powerful brain tools, psychology and neuroscience to enhance and celebrate what it means to be human, to be a leader - to feel, to care, to dream, to think. We take the complex and make it simple, compelling and fun. We give people choices, the opportunity to grow and the tools to be better.
