Event description

Description

This session helps participants to develop their skills and frameworks for actively building community support for crisis, social and affordable housing.

The session offers a methodology for working proactively over time to engage communities positively with the goal of reducing the risk of local opposition. The methodology aims to strengthen the mandate for solutions to homelessness and housing need. The methodology is relevant to the challenge of locating and sustaining crisis, social and affordable housing and by extension, is relevant to the question of how to create and sustain any services responsive to the needs of vulnerable people.
