Event description

Description

Women’s Health Grampians (WHG) and the Communities of Respect & Equality (CoRE) Alliance invites leaders from sporting clubs or associations to a Presidents’ Dinner focused on how we can all take meaningful action to eradicate violence against women and children in our community.

As the incidence of family violence continues to increase in our region, we all need to consider the roles we can play in preventing violence before it occurs.

This will be an opportunity to hear from key figures with experience in the area who will discuss the positive role sporting organisations can have in addressing this complex social problem and contribute to safe, equal and respectful communities for everyone.

Guest speakers are:

- Peter Gordon, President, Western Bulldogs Football Club

- Jerril Rechter, CEO, VicHealth

- Margot Foster AM, Former Olympian, Lawyer & Vicsport Chairman

- Greg Anders, Former President, Ballarat Golf Club

- Michael Flynn, CEO, Sports Central

Seats are limited so we encourage you to book early.

Please RSVP by Thursday 23 November 2017

We hope you can join us at this exciting event and be part of leading change in our community.
