  • Posting on forums and groups for feedback, users; asking moderators to sponsor a give away
  • Paid marketing (Google, Facebook, Bing (who uses it???), LinkedIn)
  • Cold emails, list building
  • Building an online community via Facebook, Discord, Reddit, Twitter
  • Building in public (mostly Twitter, if a tech product)
  • Product hunt: must be able to defend it in the forum and have an email list
  • Appsumo (advanced)
  • Pre-purchase/Crowdfunding (part marketing part getting paid)
  • Waitlists, FOMO
  • Pricing: limited lifetime deals; limited availability of some % off
