Building Better Boards: The ACTCOSS Governance Workshop Program

ACTCOSS Governance workshops are designed to meet the needs of people interested in, or who have recently been, appointed to a board member position with a not-for-profit organisation in the ACT. This training targets people who have never been on a board or who have limited experience on boards. The workshops are interactive with participants contributing their own experiences and sharing knowledge, as well as a networking opportunity.

The Governance workshop will be broken into two parts – the morning session focuses on board governance and strategy and the afternoon session focuses on financial management. Workbooks and resources will be provided to participants at both sessions. Participants are welcome to come to either session, or the whole day - but will need to register accordingly.
