Emotional Intelligence is widely recognised as a key attribute of effective leadership and critical to individuals success in the workplace. This is due partly to the fact that today's workplaces require high levels of collaboration and high quality interactions between employees. It involves trust, respect, constructive feedback, perspective, empathy, influence and resilience.

Emotionaly intelligent people understand their emotions and the emotions of others, and know how to positively influence them byut knowing what emotional intelligence is and how to use it are two very different things.

This interactive and engaging workshop draws on the latest neuroscience and organisational performance research and uses a range of tools and techniques to teach participants how to apply the core competencies of emotional intelligence (self awareness, self-management, social awareness and relationship management). Participants will learn how to improve their impact, influence and resilience and how to enhance the performance of their people.

Participants will undertake the internationally recognised Genos Emotional Intelligence assessment as pre-work and received their results in a 1 on 1 pre course feedback session. They will then learn how to apply these results during the workshop. Post workshop participants will enage in another 1 on 1 coaching session with the facilitator to help reinforce workshop learning.

  • Faciliate authentic dialogue and generate levels of trust and understanding between themselves and others, even during difficult conversations
  • Increase their leadership effectiveness and facilitate high performance
