InnovationAus is thrilled to announce the return of Budget Insider. This year the very social innovation policy soiree will be hosted online and known as the 2020 Lockdown Edition.

Professor Roy Green is an Emeritus Professor and Chair of the Innovation Council at the University of Technology Sydney. He has a doctorate in Economics from the University of Cambridge and has worked in universities, business and government in Australia and overseas, most recently as Dean of the UTS Business School. He has chaired the Australian Government’s Innovative Regions Centre, CSIRO Manufacturing Sector Advisory Council, NSW Manufacturing Industries Advisory Council and Queensland Competition Authority. Currently, Roy chairs the Port of Newcastle and Advanced Robotics Manufacturing
Matt Crozier CEO and Co-Founder of Bang the Table who after years of working in and around government in both Australia and the UK, co-founded Bang the Table to apply technology to the problem of connecting people with the issues that affect their lives. Since 2007 Bang the Table have connected with millions of people on behalf of hundreds of clients in Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Canada and the USA. Matt is now based in Boulder Colorado running Bang the Table's global operations.
Dr Catherine Ball Associate Professor at the Australian National University, College of Engineering and Computing. Catherine works globally across a wide range of projects from creating documentaries to leading conferences and events, to advising on the use of novel approaches particularly with drones across environmental and humanitarian projects. Catherine has a degree in Environmental Protection and a PhD in Spatial Ecology, Descriptive and Predictive Statistics) from the University of Newcastle- upon-Tyne in the UK . She is a proponent of community engagement with STEM and likes to demystify emerging tech and Catherine continues to support Australia as being the world leader in the advancement of ethically driven technological applications.
