The BSB41415 Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety qualification is suitable for people working in a work health and safety (WHS) role who may or may not work under supervision. They may provide leadership and guidance to others and have some limited responsibility for the output of others.

The qualification provides you with the skills to coordinate and maintain the WHS processes and procedures within an organisation

You will learn how to identify workplace health and safety hazards, assess and control risks, ensure compliance with current legislation and consult on WHS issues

How is assessment conducted?

You will complete three assessment portfolios which include research tasks, workplace scenarios, and practical tasks. You can also provide workplace evidence as part of your assessment portfolio.

What do I need to bring to the program?

You will need to possess effective language, communications and interpersonal skills and have the ability to write a range of documentation. Feel free to bring a lap top to the program.

How long will it take me to complete the qualification?

The time that you need to complete the qualification needs to include:

  • Time to complete research tasks
  • Six face to face training workshop days
