Event description

Description

The Brotherhood of St Laurence has been announced by the NDIA as the successful provider of Local Area Coordination and Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) in both the Hume – Moreland and Bayside Peninsula areas.

The Brotherhood is committed to working with communities and service providers to ensure that people with a disability and children with developmental delays are linked in with supports appropriate to their needs.

We welcome you to join us at our upcoming Service Provider Forum, which will be an opportunity for the Brotherhood to introduce ourselves to providers across Hume Moreland as well as discuss provider and participant experiences in NEMA over the past year.

Acknowledging that a number of providers in attendance will have had experience with the NDIS roll – out across north-east Melbourne, the forum will have a focus on:

  • reflection of roll-out and past experiences in NEMA

  • what to expect for roll-out in Hume Moreland

  • update on establishment work across new regions

The forum will take place as a panel discussion, which will include representatives from the NDIA, Disability Services Commissioner, National Disability Services and Brotherhood of St Laurence NDIS.

Light refreshments will be provided. You are welcome to register a maximum of 3 attendees per organisation.

Please advise if you require Auslan interpreting at this event when registering. This venue is fully wheelchair accessible.
