Description

The Brisbane International Chinese Martial Arts Championships is the Premier Chinese Martial Arts Championships located in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.

The championships welcomes all styles of Chinese Martial Arts to compete, make new friends catch up with old friends and to promote, educate and support the development of chinese martial arts to the wider community.
With international,
regional, national and local support the Championships will be a platform for all styles, schools, federations, associations and supporters of Chinese Martial arts to come together to raise the level and knowledge and skills within the region.

This year we welcome the worlds most famous Shaolin Warrior Monk - Grandmaster Shi De Yang direct from Shaolin Temple to be the Chief Head Judge and VIP Guest of this years event. As part of the BICMAC festival the Grandmaster will be holding a special seminar on the saturday the 23rd of Sept teaching the legendary and rare Shaolin Luo Wang Staff - the first time ever taught here in Australia!!

The competition will consist of traditional & Contemporary Taolu, Sanda (Full Contact) and Tai Chi Free Push Hands. A diverse and rich blend to test all chinese martial artists and a great way to showcase your style!

With the BICMAC opening Gala Night (Saturday 23rd Sept, Seminars with the Grandmaster (Saturday 23rd September), an amazing comeptition and competitors from all over the world its going to be a great experience!

Where can i find the BICMAC rules and regulations?

We will be using the IWUF Sanda Rules 2017 and IWUF 1999 Taolu Rules for this competition. (Please check our General Competition details in relation to but not limited to age groups, competition surfaces, time limits etc)

How do i pay for registration?

All payments are made online via eventbrite with a credit card (Visa or Mastercard)

How much are spectator fees?

ALL COMPETITORS ARE FREE!! Adults $5 and children $2 at the door. The entrance fees will go to supporting the several charities that the BICMAC will be supporting.

What else do i need to do or submit besides the online registration?

You will need to email the waiver (which is found on our facebook page) to: shaolinkungfuguan@hotmail.com

If you are entering the Sanda (full contact) comeptition you will need to submit your certificate of fitness and Serology Report at the time of weigh in (morning of competition - 7am 24th of September)
