Brief interventions in youth mental health (online)

The Brief Intervention Toolkit (BIT) is an evidence-based intervention for young people experiencing mild-to-moderate mental health conditions.

Orygen is excited to offer training for individual professionals (mental health clinicians, psychologists, social workers, OT’s, youth workers, GPs, practice nurse and secondary school nurses, etc.) looking to upskill in the Brief Intervention Toolkit.

This training package is delivered to clinicians virtually and provides unique experiential learning to deliver the toolkit in practice and implement it in your organisation.

The one-day training will cover:

  • introduction and overview of BIT
  • screening and measuring outcomes in BIT
  • using modules in practice, and
  • scaffolding modules and using them flexibly
