Event description

Description

This workshop is intended to provide health and community service providers with information and skills to assist them in their work with the complexity of collaborative care planning. It is hoped that participants will gain an improved understanding of how to approach and work with certain disorders and specific cohorts in relation to co-occurring mental ill-health, thus enhancing their confidence and service delivery.

The workshop is provided in 2 half-days covering a range of complexities including:

Dual Diagnosis; Intellectual disability; Autism; Aquired Brain Injury; Forensic issues.

And diversities including: CALD peoples; Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander peoples; LGBTIQ+ peoples.

Case based discussions will support capacity building. Morning tea will be provided on each date.

It is intended that participants will attend both sessions. Please register for both dates. If you are unable to attend both sessions please contact Bronwyn Williams via email bronwyn.williams@easternhealth.org.au
