The POCUS Development Forum is an informal meeting of those with an interest in advancing the POCUS programs in their departments. It includes industry and trianing updates and is a great place for both departmental ultrasound leads and passionate POCUS users to meet and discuss the advancement of this mode of care.

The education session will include RV and LV diastology in the SOB and hypotensive patient by Albany (WA) based FACEM and Victorian retreivel speicalist, Dr Tom Brough. ICU Specialist James Anstey will discuss echo in the critically ill: features you need to look for if you are considering ECMO. Victorian FACEM Allan Whitehead will disucss lung ultrasound cases and Amaali Lokuge will discuss basic echo views.

The workshops will cover both basic and advanced echo.

Following the education session we will break for nibbles and networking after which, we will host a hands-on cardiac and lung ultrasound workshop.

The hands-on workshop will include cardiac and lung stations where participants will learn in small groups, guided by industry experts.

EMUGs events are a fantastic networking opportunity and include an opportunity for you to meet other POCUS enthusiasts in a friendly and casual networking environment.

Our education sessions feature guest speakers who are experts in their field. We will allow the opportunity for networking and public forums to discuss any questions you may have. Speakers for this evening TBA
