A powerful one-day workshop for non-profit leaders and seasoned development professionals to hone your skills in working with major donors and grow your organisation’s philanthropic income.
At Philanthropy Squared we are always looking for new ways to convey the universal fundraising truth: when you look after the relationship with your donors, the money looks after itself.
This year, we are delighted to partner with Advancement Resources, the leading US training firm, to bring a unique program to Australia.
Breakthrough Concepts in the Art and Science of Donor Development is a results-oriented workshop based on extensive research to understand what motivates donors to give, and give generously. It will help you connect donors’ personal passions to organisational goals, leading to higher rates of success—for your organisation and its work, and for you.
Video interviews used in the workshop illustrate the power of philanthropy as donors speak candidly about their deeply personal reasons for giving and the impact it has on their lives.
The day has the potential to change the way your organisations approaches major gift fundraising. The workshop will introduce concepts and tools for more effective philanthropic engagement that will challenge your thinking and provide you with a practical framework for your own breakthrough performance in major gift fundraising.
What makes this workshop different?
- Based on 20 years of research
- Donor-centric methodology and perspectives
- Instruction based on the fundamentals of psychology to optimise learning outcomes
What will you leave with?
- Tangible concepts and practical tools you can use immediately
- Intense, emotional connection to donors and why they give
- More productive and impactful donor meetings
Breakthrough Concepts in the Art and Science of Donor Development was devised by Advancement Resources, the world’s leading provider of research-based training in philanthropy. This one-off Melbourne workshop will be presented by the company’s Chairman and CEO, Joe Golding.
“Successful fundraising is all about the donor. Better understanding, engagement and connection with donors is the single most important investment need for any organisation that wants to grow and strengthen its fundraising program.” Frankie Airey, Director, Philanthropy Squared
