Sports Geek presents Breakfast with Twitter - an innovative event showcasing Twitter best practice in the world of sports and entertainment.

Twitter loves the Australian Twitter scene and they are excited to see it continually growing. The Twitter team will be in Australia for this event sharing valuable Twitter insights and case studies.

The event will be hosted by Sports Geek's Sean Callanan (@seancallanan) and ABC's Francis Leach (@SaintFrankly).

A Twitter pioneer, Wendell was one of the first Australia sports stars to embrace Twitter, following the lead of @The_Real_Shaq now just @Shaq. Wendell has been innovative in engaging all sports fans on Twitter as well as using Twitter effectively as a RUOK Ambassador Wendell is an accomplished media performer in sports and outside side sports.

As his Twitter Bio states "promising local comedian" Dools has come a long way from "work experience kid" on Triple J with Wil Anderson and Adam Spencer. He is best known for his high profile roles on Nova 96.9 Breakfast and Triple J Drive. Recently Scott received international attention for his involvement with Charlie Sheen which evolved from a radio interview to a friendship that culminated in Scott taking part in Sheen’s live stage show and stealing Sheen’s bus from the CBS lot.

Shaynna Blaze is a woman of many talents. Her career has spanned interior design, teaching, commercial artist and even entertainer and jazz singer. In the last six years, Shaynna has brought her talents as an Interior Designer and presenter to a broader audience with the award winning show Selling Houses Australia and more recently, as a judge for the Channel Nine series “The Block”. At the instructions of Twitter, press coverage will not be allowed at the event but tweeting is encouraged with over 1500 tweets in 2 hours at Melbourne's #TwitterBrekky.

Do I have to be on Twitter to attend?

We expect most attendees to be on Twitter & to be looking for new case studies to help their team or brand but we'd love to see your executive team in attendance to see why Twitter will be an exciting platform.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Yes, but we hope you can make it, printed ticket will get them in.

Why isn't this event free?

This event it is being run by Sports Geek to help Melbourne & Sydney sports, entertainment & digital community connect with Twitter during Mike's visit. Although we'd like to offer free tickets there are costs associated with putting on an event like this. Ticket prices have been kept as low as possible to make the event accessible and ticket fees are being used to pay for event costs (venue hire, AV, catering).
