From July 25th to July 27th 2017, RMIT University will host the “Symposium onSustainable Development Research in Asia Pacific”, in partnership with Manchester Metropolitan University, HAW Hamburg, under the auspices of the Inter-University Sustainable Development Research Programme (IUSDRP).

This is an exclusive breakfast for leaders in the urban built environment design and development business.

This breakfast will provide an overview of:

  1. - How the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) apply to the urban built environment industry.

  2. - The opportunities for alignment across sustainability planning, buildings and infrastructure and the relevant professions.

  3. - Lessons and success cases from the United Nations - Principles for ResponsibleManagement of Education (PRME) over the past 10 years that can be leveraged for the urban built environment sector.

This senior management by-invitation-only breakfast meeting will be facilitated by Michael Nolan, Chair - United Nations Global Compact - Cities Programme, has the support of the UN PRME and seeks to include only the key stakeholders shaping the built environment industry in Australia.
