Breakfast at Noon is an informal way get into the minds of entrepreneurs and change-makers and learn how being creative, innovative and an opportunist can help you succeed.

Emma has over 20 years’ experience working in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). For the past 9 years, she has worked in Cisco’s Social Innovation Group as the Regional Marketing Manager for Asia Pacific & Japan. Emma develops new programs above and beyond the Cisco® Networking Academy® (NetAcad) (www.netacad.com) their flagship CSR program.
Over the past couple of years, Emma built a Cybersecurity Series for Asia Pacific as there wasn’t a global offering available at the time. The program attracted 80,000 students worldwide.
Emma has developed a career readiness program. 80,000 students have engaged to-date with 75% saying it helped identify their future career path. She created virtual career fairs using Cisco technology for top tier partners to connect with soon-to-be graduates. The program is now offered globally.
To tackle the leaky pipeline of Women in technology, Emma produced the Women Rock-IT (WRI) program. Partnering with UN Women and ITU, Over 111,000+ people have participated over 20 events with 30 female speakers, publishing 25 blog posts, leading to 50,000+ course enrollments. She has also started the Cisco Women in IT Awards held each year at Cisco Live in Australia to celebrate the very best in female talent across ANZ.

Your host for the series is Marcus Powe. Marcus founded EIC Growth Pty Ltd to assist CEO’s and leaders implement, embed and measure creativity and innovation systems that result in enterprising behaviours. He specialises in the growth of for profit and not for profit organisations that operate in the turbulence of national and international market places. Marcus has twice been awarded by the Business and Higher Education Round table as Australia’s Best Entrepreneurial Educator and for sustained excellence in collaboration between business and universities in Australia.
At the end of each event, you will be hearing from Jaxon Hickey who will provide 'The Jaxon 5', the top 5 takeaways and tips from the conversation. Jaxon Hickey has been involved in and led entrepreneurship activities as a founder, educator and director across large global markets. In his current position as Director of Global Strategy and International Operations, he leads the International expansion of a New Zealand based software company into the North American markets. He also educates entrepreneurship and innovation across two leading Universities in Sydney and Melbourne.
