Enrich your visit to Gariwerd by coming along to Brambuk to hear stories, songs and to experience the cultures of Gariwerd’s First Peoples.
Just pick the time (and date) that suits you – and get yourself to Halls Gap this Summer for a Gariwerd experience you’ll never forget!
The January 2022 program is currently available. Bookings are essential as tickets are limited and cost is FREE.
Storytelling Through Art Workshop with Gunditjmara artist, Sherry Johnstone
10am - 12pm OR 1pm-3pm. Sherry will share stories about Aboriginal symbolism and how she incorporates this into her artwork. Participants will be invited to work on a collaborative art piece, with each person taking home a small painted canvas they have painted.
The workshop will suit adults and children over 8 years of age.
Maximum number of bookings per family / group for each workshop is 5 people.
Live music with Gunditjmara/Kokatha songman, Dave Arden
1pm-2pm OR 3pm-4pm: Dave is a proud Gunditjmara/Kokatha songman and story teller. His songs are about family, community, culture, custom, lingo and tribal life that is still alive and misunderstood in this country.
Maximum number of bookings per family / group for each performance is 8 people.
