Join us for a fun evening with a focus on a very serious subject that impacts many Australians; both young and old - Brain Cancer. The Grace Gawler Institute's Food Fun Dinner launches a Gold Coast "first'. Our Event not only raises awareness about Brain Cancer; but introduces a world first Brain Cancer Resource Portal - a unique Global Cyber Centre
Why Support this Event? Brain Cancer without Borders Alliance, takes advantage of past patient experience along with the experience of Institute's founder who has dedicated 42 years helping patients to safely navigate the cancer maze. The interactive website is comprehensive; providing potentially life-saving information to all people everywhere - free of charge. In one location patients can source a variety of tools for managing the impact of a diagnosis of brain cancer.
Patients and families can find everything they need; from psychological, emotional, practical, state of the art rehabilitation help and brain cancer education – to the latest innovative Medical Trials, medical research, how to contact world experts – podcast & videos, valid self-help etc. There is also a section on how to fundraise and travel safely for overseas treatment.
About the event
Entertainment: From 6.30 pm. Be inspired by the Gold Coast String Quartet classical/pop and after 9 pm move & groove with Jahbutu's Reggae/calypso.
A lucky ticket holder will win a door prize valued at $2500. There will also be a charity auction with Australian and UK items - some surprises in store!
Ticket Cost: $140 - Includes drinks on arrival , canapes - a delicious gourmet dinner, wines, beverages, entertainment.
Speakers - Guest Speakers- Celebrity and Medical along with short video presentations reflecting the latest treatments from around the Globe - treatments we help patients to access.

Please consider this is a charity event. According to Australian Philanthropic Law - Donations are not refundable. Donations are a tax deduction and ATO acceptable receipts are provided for donations.
An event ticket is not considered a donation. If you purchase tickets to attend our Black Tie Dinner Event - they can be transferred to another party or parties.
