Event description

Description

The NSW Writers' Centre and Bankstown Arts Centre are proud to announce the launch of Boundless, the first-ever festival focused on Indigenous and culturally diverse Australian writers and writing.

Boundless will feature the premiere performance of new work from Sweatshop and Urban Theatre Projects, children's workshops and events from WestWords, screenings from CuriousWorks, and a showcase of work by local young people from BYDS, culminating in a special guest appearance by the Bankstown Poetry Slam in the evening.

Showcasing well known writers and exciting new voices, the festival will be held at Bankstown Arts Centre, in the heart of multicultural Sydney, on Saturday 28 October 2017.

Boundless is made possible by support from the Australia Council for the Arts, Create NSW, the Copyright Agency Cultural Fund and Pantera Press.
