Boundaries: Birdwatching in the City

Writer Sophie Cunningham and photographer Dianna Wells have walked, written about and photographed the City of Melbourne's boundary lines and are sharing this work through a chapbook, panel discussion and series of walking tours.
Walk 1: Birdwatching in the City
Join birdwatcher Greg Hunt and writer Sophie Cunningham for this walking and birdwatching tour. Beginning at the Trin-Warren Tam-Boore Bellbird Waterhole, learn about this urban wetland, and the birds that congregate there. Get tips more generally on the art of bird watching. To catch the morning light this tour starts at 9am.
Date: Saturday 12 November, 9am to 11am
Meeting Place: The car park on Oak Street, Parkville alongside the Trin-Warren Tam-Boore Bellbird Waterhole
Bring: Binoculars (we have a small number to borrow), water, sun hat (or raincoat) depending on the weather
Disability Access: Possible, but limited
