Gippsland Tech School, in partnership with the Royal Society Victoria, are excited to announce our second after-school programs for students in grades 5 and 6.

The first of these programs will focus on designing and building a bottle rocket. Across two sessions students will learn about 3d design, how a rocket functions, and how to launch them. Each student will design their own bottle rocket using 3d design software and a laser cutter. They will then build and launch their bottle rocket in a safe environment.

The program is being held on Wewdnesdays the 27th March and 03rd April 2019 from 4:00pm – 5:30pm. Attendance at both sessions is needed to complete the project. The sessions are being held at Gippsland Tech School at the corner of Princes Drive and Monash Way, Morwell (near Kernot Hall).

Places in the program are limited to 15 students and bookings are essential.
