About this event
This international conference explores the historical and cultural value of born-digital artefacts. Over four days, researchers and practitioners from libraries, archives, museums, galleries, moving image institutions, software repositories, and universities will discuss the challenges of preserving born-digital culture, including current (and emerging) methods for its conservation, exhibition, and research.
Two keynotes by Klaus Rechert (University of Freiburg) and Dene Grigar (Washington State University) address. respectively, emulation as a conservation strategy and the implications of preserving flash art.
Panels will focus on short presentations, discussion and Q&A- and be Zoom webinars. We will also be catching up virtually for more informal interactions on Discord.
