Event description
Shelterbelts and Saltbush: Maximising livestock performance and biodiversity on your farm

About this Event

Join Sustainable Farms (and our partners Riverina LLS, Murrumbidgee Landcare) for this field day as part of our 2019 Summer Series.

This family friendly field day will focus on saltbush and shelterbelts and the way saltbush can be utilised to increase livestock performance and biodiversity on your farm. Our hosts are Graham and Amanda Strong , who have had great success improving the environment and natural assets on their property 'Larell'. Come along to hear from Graham Strong about his shelterbelts and the benefits of saltbush from his experience.

Come to learn and chat, and stay for a free BBQ dinner. There will be a kids program, so bring them along too.

Speakers include Graham Strong of Larell, a veterinarian from Riverina LLS, and senior ecologist Mason Crane from Sustainable Farms.
