Despite the complexities associated with this population, health professionals are ideally placed to engage with patients presenting with borderline personality disorder. This education session provides an outline of how all health professionals can provide effective support and treatment options for these patients.
Learning outcomes:
- Outline the challenges surrounding the diagnosis of BPD
- Examine the treatment options for people with BPD
- Outline the general principles of providing care to people with BPD
