To celebrate Children’s Book Week we’ve invited renowned children’s author and garden writer Penny Harrison to The Learning Sanctuary Brighton on Thursday, 22 August, at 10am.

We’d love you and your child to join us for this special book reading at the Centre and take part in a range of garden activities.

Penny lives in a rambling old home in the Yarra Valley with her family and a menagerie of animals and plants, and will be reading her latest book Emily Green’s Garden, due for release next month.

It’s a great chance to enjoy a relaxed morning, with your child engaged and entertained.

To get into the full spirit of Book Week we’re encouraging all children to dress up and bring along their favourite book to celebrate.
