In celebration of NAIDOC join Walangari Karntawarra for an Aboriginal walking tour around Bondi’s coastline. See some of our most famous locations and learn about how the First Peoples utilised the areas bountiful resources and the fascinating history of the area. The walk is a gentle, one and half hour, downhill journey , stopping at points of interest along the way. Walangari encourages walkers to ask questions. The meeting point for the tour is the corner of Blair St and Military Rd, North Bondi at 9.45am and the walk finishes on the beach, close to the Pavilion. Both areas are well served by public transport.

Waverley Library recognises that this walk is held on Bidjigal and Gadigal land, and pays its respects to their elders both past and present.
