Bond University Women's Network invites you to join in the fun at our White Christmas High Tea. This is a perfect way to review the year and share some highlights with fellow BUWN members while sipping champagne and enjoying delicious canapes. The event will be held at the University Club with Lake Orr as our backdrop and featuring the Bond Orchestra. So put on your party shoes and join us in sharing the festive season with a bang.
Our focus for this event is the WhiteRibbon – Australia campaign to stop violence against women. To help support the organisation there will be merchandise available for purchase and entry is via Gold Coin Donation. There will also be a raffle with great prizes.
You will also have the opportunity to have your photo taken in full festive spirit. All money raised will go to the WhiteRibbon campaign, so please dig deep and support this great cause. Collectively we can make a difference.
The BUWN is an inclusive network that embraces the strengths of both our female and male members. We encourage the men in our community to join us in celebrating Christmas and helping to raise awareness about this important White Ribbon – Australia campaign. Real change begins unilaterally. It takes both genders to make lasting change because it’s our combined actions that make real change possible.
Please note that registration is essential for catering purposes.
The catering provided on the day will cover basic dietary requirements, such as vegetarian, gluten free and diary free.
We look forward to all of our colleagues and members attending this event and being part of the movement towards positive change.
This event is open to all staff, students, alumni and community members of both genders.
See you there!
