What is most important about your postgraduate student experience?
Is it primarily a career stepping-stone?
A way of increasing your credentials?
Becoming an academic?
Or is it more about scholarship?
Knowing, learning, researching?
Is your experience allowing you to contribute?
To be a leader?
What about the social experience?
Is on-campus extra-curricular involvement an important factor?
Bond University led an 18-month research project across Australia funded by the Australian Government Office for Learning and Teaching to explore answers to these questions and more. Grounded in this research, the objectives of this workshop are to: present national research findings regarding the postgraduate student experience; discuss the fit for Bond postgraduate students (does the research resonate; if it is different at Bond, how); provide tips and strategies we heard for enhancing postgraduate employability; and derive a collaborative postgraduate student strategic action statement.
Held in conjunction with Bond University’s Research Week 2016.
RSVP by 6th October 2016
Attendance is complimentary for all HDR students but registration is essential.
