At a time when Australia is becoming increasingly post-Christian, the churches need to think how to locate themselves in the wider culture, to both resistant certain elements of culture, and yet to speak evangelically within it.
In this lecture, Mike Bird identifies the characteristics of the militant secularism that exists within much of political progressivism and then proposes his own strategy for how we can respond to it.
His “Thessalonian Strategy” calls the church to retain a missional witness in the rapidly changing world of the twenty-first century.
