The Boggy Creek Horse Show, in association with Spirited
Experience a lifetime of bush knowledge in an iconic horseman show direct from the Snowy Mountains, with fourth-generation mountain cattleman Tim O’Brien.
The award-winning Boggy Creek Show captures the spirit of Australia’s outback. You will learn about mountain cattlemen traditions, horsemanship, movie horse training, whip cracking and much more.
Come along and enjoy bush poetry and bush games for the kids.
The Lions Club of Gungahlin will provide a sausage BBQ and drinks for sale.

Where is the event being held?
The show will be held outdoors on the grassed area at the loop amphitheatre.
Is there allocated seating?
There is no allocated seating, in fact there is no seating. Grab a hay bale or bring a blanket or a deck chair.
What time should I get there?
Doors open at 5.45pm and there will be a chance to grab a bite to eat or join in the bush games before the show starts at 6.30pm.
Can I get something to eat or drink?
The Lions Club of Gungahlin will provide a sausage BBQ and drinks for sale.
Will the Spirited exhibition be open?
No, but you will receive a complimentary ticket on the night, to come back and see the show at your leisure.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
The National Museum of Australia is located on Acton Peninsula on Lake Burley Griffin in Canberra, just a short drive south-west of the city centre. Access is via Lawson Crescent, Acton. Free parking for this event Action bus number 7 operates to the National Museum on weekdays and number 934 on the weekends. For route and timetable information and fares visit the Action website.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, just show the ticket confirmation on your smart device at the gate.
What is the refund policy?
If you cannot attend the show of your choice the ticket can be used for any advertised Boggy Creek Horse show.
