About this event

Join a circle of women on a journey to honouring your relationship with your body.

Find beauty, love, appreciation and healing for the human vessel which carries you through this life.

Open for all women, especially facilitated for women with a history of abuse, birth trauma, chronic illness, self-harm or challenging relationship with eating and body image.

Be opened with cacao and guided to connect with your body through music and guided breath.

Connect with and adorn your body with flowers, cacao and high quality body safe body paint.

Be held through sharing stories as medicine with trauma informed midwife, womb worker and women's wisdom holder Sarah.

Cacao, tea, snacks and a grounding soup provided. You are welcome to bring picnic style food to share if you have dietary needs. GF and vegan will be available.

Space being held by ~

Sarah is a midwife, womb worker and women's wisdom holder. She has been holding women through intense healing and transformation for over 9years. As a trauma informed midwife she has worked with many women and girls who have experienced sexual abuse, as well as supporting women processing trauma with emotional support and body work modalities. She has a variety of experience working with women through reproductive health challenges and along their pregnancy, birth and early parenting journeys.

High quality art supplies safe to use on your body, cacao which is grown and made through deep ritual an intention by Mayan midwives, tea and snacks, a donation to The Midwife Project Guatemala made on your behalf. 10% of the ticket sales go directly to supporting Mayan Midwives in the continuation of their traditional practices.

The Space ~

Bundjalung country. A private property 20mins inland from Byron Bay. A private home with access to an indoor space and nature. A stunning sunset view and an open fire. Parking available, but please ride share where possible.

Please bring ~

Something to wear that you can access where you would like to paint/adorn (skirt, crop top ect that you don't mind potentially getting cacao or paint on the paint will only stain when wet), sarong or towel to place under you and if you would like to wash off your paint before leaving, bottle of water, instruments if you would like to share in music.

We can't wait to journey with you through this expansive and nourishing experience.
