Bush Heritage Australia and the Shire of Perenjori

The Blues for the Bush Concert is being co-presented by Bush Heritage Australia and the Shire of Perenjori.

Bush Heritage Australia is a not-for-profit conservation organisation (founded in 1991) dedicated to protecting Australia’s unique animals, plants and their habitats. We do this by acquiring and managing land of outstanding conservation value, or by working in partnership with other landowners.

Our vision is, by 2025, to protect more than seven million hectares of Australia’s high conservation value land, water and wildlife. To this end we use a pragmatic, apolitical and science-based approach to protecting the remarkable diversity of the Australian bush.

In the Southern Rangelands, in the region around the Charles Darwin Reserve, we seek to demonstrate the efficacy of our approach to conservation and to work with Government, other NGO’s, indigenous groups and private landowners to maximise the conservation outcomes of our work

The Shire of Perenjori has an area of 8,611km2 and is located 348km north of Perth and 39km south of Morawa, Western Australia with a population of approximately 900 people

Our vision for our community is that Perenjori will be dynamic and innovative and build on its key industries – mining, agriculture, energy and the environment to deliver sustained growth for its communities. The community and Council will build on its resilient, adaptive and strong community spirit to create a place that people want to live, work and invest in. In every regard, Perenjori will embrace opportunity.

The concert is being Project Managed by Left of Centre Concepts and Events and any further information required should be directed to our Project Manager, Emily Sutherland, via email at
