About this Event

Come and experience the historic Blue Range Hut on an overnight camp-out and guided tour by ACT Park Rangers. Enjoy a night by the fire with star-gazing, spotlighting , billy tea and damper and a morning hike to the site of the historic Sherwood Homestead. Limited spots available so book now.

Itinerary includes dinner and a talk about Blue Range hut and its history, followed by a spotlight to see what wildlife is hanging around. The next morning enjoy bacon and egg breakfast before a walk to former Sherwood Homestead and hear about the history of the family that lived here.

You will need to bring your own tent and camping gear, including bedding/sleeping bags and your own drinks and snacks. If you have any other dietary requirements you will need to bring your own food.

Tour includes a BBQ dinner with billy tea and damper provided by the Rangers, as well as tea, coffee and bacon and egg rolls for breakfast.

This event is hosted by ACT Parks and Conservation Service
