Event Details

Please see this event at Perth Trail Series for full details after signing up.

"Bloated Goat" Course Description: 31km +/- 1600 mtr

This event is tough. So tough, it's possible you won't finish. We had 30% drop out rate our first year. But it's got a following of people who want to "Beat the Goat". And we challenge you to give it a go.

What is this? It's an off road trail running event, that's approximately 31km, with heaps of climbing! How much climbing you ask? Great question: +/-1600m. Up and down, up and down. And when you think you're finished, "oh...hmmm...think again".  Up and down.

"Little Fat Lamb" Description: 21km +/- 1000 mtr

This event is challenging, but if you've completed the Long Course in the Summer Series, it's an achievable goal. You can use all your 3 month training to smash this out!

"Bleating Kid" Description: 11km +/- 500 mtr

This event is challenging, but if you've completed the Short Course events in the Summer Series,  it's an achievable goal. And like Little Fat Lamb, you can use all your training to smash it out

We provide course markings the whole way to help you stay on track! We'll also have assistants at key intersections to help you stay on track, and giving out high 5's!

Not only that, but we've got a quirky themes, and an awesome community that make our events so special.

Bloated Goat is the 31km event, Little Fat Lamb is the 21km event, and Bleating Kid is the 11km event.

What am I required to bring?

1. You must carry a hydration system that will hold a minimum of 1lt for the duration of the event. This could be a handheld, or a pack. We recommend most runners carry at least 2 ltrs.

2. You must wear your race bib at all times during the event.

3. A positive, prepare for anything attitude! And a level of self sufficiency.

What will I be running on?

The trails and hills of Wungong.

Course description: The Bloated Goat will use 21kms from the Little Fat Lamb, as well as an additional 10km of hills. They're both very different experiences. Each contain nice, wide fire trail as well as awesome single track. The Bleating Kid is a brand new event and shares trails of the both courses. All events are loops that see you starting and finishing in the same location.

Is there an Aid Station?

Aid stations: Yes. The aid station is accessed for Bloated Goat Runners at 16km, and 26km. For Little Fat Lamb it's located at 15.5km. The Aid Station will stock water, carbohydrates, electrolytes (so, bring your reusable, collapsible cup!) and bananas.
