Blink Photographic Awards: DSLR Camera Skills for Children

In this fun and creative kids camera workshop participants will learn how to manually operate a DSLR camera, how to understand and speak with light, how to explore and compose a photograph, how to photograph meaningful and beautiful pictures and most importantly how to connect and collaborate with the other kids. Camera Story uses photography to empower those living in under resourced and vulnerable areas and connecting communities the world over. They do this through their specially devised educational and vocational workshops that explore the camera and image making in a contemporary digital world.
The co-founders, Sarah Landro and Jacqueline Warrick are both Photomedia graduates and professional photographers who built Camera Story through intensive research and work in Australia and overseas.
