Event description

Description

People are an organisations greatest competitive advantage and we are delighted to invite you to the first of our exclusive Human Resources Events for 2020, specifically tailored to HR Professionals, with 100% of proceeds going towards the Victorian Bushfire Appeal.

ABOUT THE EVENT

This will be an evening of networking, wine and cheese tasting and an opportunity to gain valuable insights from two exceptional speakers who have a wealth of experience in the HR Industry and both are particularly passionate on the topic of discussion, Cultural Transformation.

Cultural Transformation is a trending topic amongst most organisations and studies show that more than 90% of Directors reported that Australian business needs to make improvements in relation to corporate culture (2017 Director Sentiment Report, AICD).

ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

Georgia Henry, Founder and CEO of HENRY REED and Allanna Kelsall, General Manager Human Resources from RSL Queensland, are both highly skilled and experienced HR Professionals who have had particular focus and both extremely passionate about Cultural Transformation. Both ladies will provide you their insights from an external and internal HR perspective as we facilitate a robust panel discussion covering points like culture needing to be owned by the CEO, wider Executive Team and the Board and identifying the impact the HR function can truly make on an organisations culture.

Georgia Henry specialises in supporting Boards & Executive Teams with the navigation of the complexities of organisation culture and change management. Georgia is passionate about people and the impact of culture on the successes and failures of organisations. She believes that culture is the responsibility of the board, that there are tangible and measurable elements of culture, and that, for success, culture must be aligned with strategy and embedded in systems, processes and practices to optimise results, mitigate risks and create competitive advantage.

Allana Kelsall has over 20 years of experience leading varied operational functions in commercial and non-profit industries across six countries. She is passionate about building an energised and customer-centric workplace culture where the organisational strategic vision is underpinned by the right people, an uplift in leadership capabilities and meaningful innovation.

Allana is a hands-on operational leader accomplished at engaging large, small and geographically dispersed workforces across a wide range of industries.
