Event description

Description

Ron Johnstone has been working on Black-Cockatoos for over 30 years and is an expert in the field. His work includes the Cockatoo Care Program, research on all three of southwest WA's Black-Cockatoos, the impacts of feral honey bees and the design of artificial hollows. Ron will give a talk on his latest research and the ways in which you can help Black-Cockatoos (plants, habitat restoration, etc).

This talk is presented with funding from State NRM as part of the BirdLife managed project 'Consolidation of Biodiversity Habitat'. The project's aim is to increase food resources for Black-Cockatoos by revegetating degraded areas of Bold Park in Floreat.
