He has been called the outstanding Aboriginal leader of the modern era. His policies have garnered criticism and celebration in equal measure. This December, CCER is proud to welcome lawyer, academic and one of our country's finest orators Noel Pearson to deliver the biennial Bishop Manning Lecture.
Hosted by the Catholic Commission for Employment Relations, the lecture will be the third featuring public figures with professional experience the development of public policy and the management of people responsible for delivering it.
The two previous Bishop Manning speakers were the Honourable Bob Hawke and economist Saul Eslake.
The evening is a unique opportunity to hear Noel Pearson share his insights into the current and potential prospects of Indigenous communities across Australia.
The lecture will be held on Monday 8 December from 5.30pm for a 6pm start at the Kirribilli Club, 11 Harbourview Crescent Lavender Bay 2060.
