Description

Are you interested in bird watching? Would you like to improve your knowledge of local bird species and contribute to Citizen Science? Join us for our spring bird field surveys in the Riverland .

Why?

Your participation will assist with monitoring birds and the overall environmental health of the SA Murray-Darling Basin region. Involvement in the survey will provide you with more field identification and data entry experience, and contribute meaningful data.

Suitable for those who have attended an intro course or have some prior experience.

When?

  • Thursday 26 October, 8am -1 pm
  • Berri Evaporation Basin and Disher Creek

Meet at the Natural Resources Centre, Berri at 7.30 am to travel together to the survey site.

How much?

FREE with morning tea provided. BYO lunch and water.

Binoculars & ID guides available for loan.
