In this Year 12 Kickstarter Workshop, we’re going to help you master key challenging areas you’ve covered and kickstart you into the 2021 HSC Biology syllabus!

In this 3 hour workshop during the school holidays we will help you:

• Learn Module 6: Genetic Change
• Get confident with Module 5: Heredity so you’re prepared for next term
• Apply these concepts to the HSC syllabus and work through typical exam-style questions to help you prepare for your HSC assessments
• Review the most challenging and important parts of the Year 12 course so far

Why is it important to master this now?

These are key concepts in HSC Biology. Don’t go into 2021 with gaps in your understanding – it’s going to make the HSC course a lot more challenging. This workshop therefore will help you build a strong foundation so you can excel in your HSC, while also getting you started on the Year 12 material so you’re ready to hit the ground running next term!

COVID-19 Update:

Due to relaxed restrictions, this workshop will be held face to face at our Hornsby campus AND online. All of our tutors follow strict hygiene guidelines and are required to maintain an appropriate level of social distancing to keep you and your family safe. Classes are smaller this year and capped at 8 people to reduce risk.

Workshop Teacher

Ken has a PhD with a focus on Biology as well as a Bachelor of Biotechnology (Honours) and Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of Technology Sydney. Ken has over 5 years of teaching experience supporting students from small classes through to workshops of over 150 students! With the new HSC Science syllabi bringing in concepts from a University level, Ken brings his extensive post-graduate knowledge into the HSC course to help students excel!
