Description

The course provides information on

  • the main function of a biosafety cabinet (BSC), different types of BSCs and their principles of operation

  • other types of containment devices and how they differ from BSCs

  • how to work safety in a Class II BSC including a video presentation of safe work practices

This training is for all Deakin staff and Honours/HDR students who work in Class II BSCs.

Training consists of attendance at a face to face session.
