Description
Biodynamics are a bedrock of natural winemaking, and we are firm believers that the benefits of this philosphy are in the bottle.
Conceived by Rudolf Steiner in the 1920s as a response to advances in conventional farming, biodynamic practice predates organics. It acknowledges and respects the interconnectedness of all things, and strives for a spiritual and sustainable relationship with our planet. The vineyard itself is viewed as a living organism, a bastion of biodiversity not to be manipulated or interfered with.
Terroir is a term all too loosely bandied about these days, but as any biodynamic vigneron will tell you, wines produced with these principles in mind are in the truest sense a pure reflection of place and time.
Thanks to our mates at Negociants, two emblematic ambassadors of this magical method of production, Canberra District's Lark Hill and Marlborough's Fromm Winery, will join us on Tuesday 15th May to share their wines with you. Taste a near full range from both producers, and then head down for a feed with one of our epic barbies.
$32 (plus tax and those irritating fees) for 17 wines and fingerlickin' eats.
Two sessions to choose from! Cap off a day off with some good juice, or kick your after-work drink plans up a notch!
