Event description
Shelterbelts for livestock, biodiversity & farm health: lessons learned from decades of planting shelterbelts

About this Event

Join Sustainable Farms (and our partners South East LLS, Binalong Landcare) for this field day as part of our 2019 Summer Series.

This family friendly field day will focus on Shelterbelts and the ways they can be designed for maximum benefit on your farm. Our hosts are George and Libby Elliot, who have had great success improving the environment and natural assets on their property 'Balalgal'. Come along to hear from George Elliot about Shelterbelts, drawing on decades of experience.

Come to learn and chat, and stay for a free BBQ dinner. There will be a kids program, so bring them along too.

Speakers include George Elliot of Balalgal, Graham Fifield (revegetation and whole of paddock restoration specialist from Greening Australia), Alex Stephens (veterinarian from South East LLS), and senior ecologist Mason Crane from Sustainable Farms.
