Bike & Body Maintenance for Triathletes & Cyclists
Sat. 8 April 2017, 11:00 am – 3:30 pm AWST
This event is split into two parts*:
11am-1pm - Basic bike maintenance (2hrs) - run by BikeDr, this 2 hour session will take you through the basics of tyre/tube changing and simple day to day maintenance of your trusty machine. Bring your own bike along to learn specific skills for your machine.
1:30-3:30pm - Mobility for cycling (2hrs) - have you had a bike fit, spent hours in the saddle, and still feel uncomfortable after long or hard rides. With our everyday "weekend warriors", often the issue is less about the bike fit, and more about how well the rider "fits" the fit. Learn how to assess your mobility specific to cycling (and especially a time-trial/triathlon position) and some basic do-at-home exercises that will help you find a more comfortable and powerful position on the bike.
*It is possible to register for only one component of the workshop.
