Biggest Morning Tea
Event Information
Description
Help us raise funds to beat cancer.
Aimee Provence is hosting an Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea to raise money for the Cancer Council.
Cancer has touched and is still touching so many of the local community and together we’d love to make a difference this year.
Guest Speaker: Rachel Pope
When young Sunshine Coast mum Rachel Pope's dad passed away from cancer at the age of just 47 she was absolutely devastated. She could never have imagined that years later she would also lose her husband, the father of her two young children at the same age and in the same tragic way to the same Cancer. Grief may have stopped her in her tracks for a few years but it has not been her destination. Instead of being defeated by her pain she has embraced the art of gratitude and used it to pull herself out of the tunnel where she has been able to find the gifts life has had to offer in the midst of her journey of grief. Rachel is a true inspiration and example of resilience to anyone going through a loss of how to find gratitude through the pain and how to find joy in life again.
$15 donation from every High tea will go to the Cancer Council (bookings essential), you can enjoy a delicious morning tea prepared by our talented team at Aimee Provence. You will also have the chance to win some amazing prizes through the raffle that will be run during the morning tea.
Come along to our Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea on Thursday the 20th of June to enjoy our scrumptious High Tea starting 10 am – 12 pm.
