Join us for guided walks through a rainforest arboretum with plant and fungi experts, a plant ID demonstration and afternoon tea.

Join Brunswick Valley Landcare on Big Scrub Rainforest Day for guided walks and a rainforest plant identification demonstration with plant and fungi experts at Brunswick Valley Heritage Park in Mullumbimby.

  • 1-2pm Learn about rainforest fungi on this guided walk with Rita de Heer and Heritage Park Landcare group's John Tann
  • 2-3pm Learn how to key out sub-tropical rainforest plants with Jacqui Paine of Back 2 Bush Bush Regeneration & Training
  • 3-4pm Guided walk through Heritage Park rainforest with Jacqui Paine of Back 2 Bush Bush Regeneration & Training

Afternoon tea included. Booking essential.

In 1980, the Maslen family imagined and created Brunswick Valley Heritage Park on Council land with help from the community and later Brunswick Valley Landcare.

Brunswick Valley Heritage Park borders the Brunswick River near the Federation Bridge. Several hundred local native rainforest and other trees line the paths and river.
